The BPM614 Opinion

If you are completely new to DJing or want an ultra-portable "couch controller" that fits right inside a backpack, the DDJ-FLX2 is an incredible, low-cost sandbox. AlphaTheta knocked it out of the park with compatibility here—you can plug this into a phone, tablet, Mac, or PC and seamlessly stream music directly from Apple Music, TIDAL, or SoundCloud.

Let’s keep it 100% real: This is a micro-controller. It weighs just 2.6 pounds and swaps out standard 3-band channel EQs for a 2-band system (High/Low) to keep the footprint tiny. It doesn't have professional XLR or booth outputs— If you are looking to rock a club gig, this isn’t your deck. But if you want to learn the basics in your bedroom, mix at house parties, or prep playlists on a flight using your phone or tablet? This is an excellent value for the price.
